Advertising Account Manager Jobs description
An advertising account manager is responsible for selling advertising space to firms, agencies, individuals, and other users. Duties include negotiating and finalizing contracts with users of the firm’s advertising services, maintaining long lasting relationship with parties, problem solving, prospecting for new clients and making best effort to retain existing clients, training new advertising account executives or advertising account managers, and meeting and exceeding sales targets.An advertising account manager should have a bachelor’s degree or an associate’s degree. An MBA qualification may be useful. Several years of experience in selling ad space as an advertising account manager or advertising account executive may be advantageous.
