What the day will look like As Benefits Consultant working within the Risk & Healthcare team, you will be responsible for developing new business, leading and managing existing Risk & Healthcare client engagements and serving as strategic advisor to clients. You’ll also be asked to contribute your thought leadership to the overall development of the Benefits practice. The successful individual will report to the Head of Risk & Healthcare, carrying out multiple duties as below: Financial: Primary accountability for growing Risk, Healthcare and Benefits revenue Cross-sell new projects and services to current Health & Benefit clients and maximize the penetration of key accounts Work with existing Sales and Client Relationship Management teams across Aon to identify & develop new opportunities. Clients: Lead client relationships Establish a trusted advisor role with clients and provide consistent, superior relationship management Identify opportunities to cross sell projects and services to current clients Lead and manage multiple Risk & Healthcare consulting client engagements Finalize and present quality deliverables to clients How this opportunity is different The Benefits Consultant will have the opportunity to work with well-known global corporate clients an independent and autonomous manner. The Risk and Healthcare team are a close-knit, collaborative team who support and help one another to encourage knowledge sharing, providing opportunities to learn and gain new skills. Managing your own portfolio of clients, the Benefits Consultant will also have the support of both local and global networks. Skills and experience that will lead to success The Benefits Consultant is expected to have a benefits background with a number of years’ experience in the industry in a client facing role. The following skills are required and highly appreciated: Experience and success in management of large Risk & Healthcare clients Experience in managing multiple people and projects and producing quality deliverables on time and within budget A desire to contribute to a high functioning team and to help set and maintain standards within that team Strong client focus with the problem-solving ability Project Management and Co-ordination Skills Excellent communicator with commercial awareness How we support our colleagues In addition to our comprehensive benefits package, we encourage a diverse workforce.
