What's the role?

The Sales Account Manager's role is to identify and develop strategic accounts for commercial fuels business in north China , increasing volume, margin & reducing DSO through existing customers and developing new customers/accounts via Sales 1st Behavior. Develop Term & Spot hydrocarbons and logistics contracting strategies, to negotiate and to structure commercial contracts with 3rd parties in line with country and business growth plans. The individual will be part of a team of 5 that will cover south/mid China in terms of delivering the business financial performance and the commercial outcomes desired. To manage and grow the assigned zone, capturing opportunities in key industries identified in the territory. Maintain Sales Excellence though strategic account management, call planning and reporting and pipeline management. Deliver to key Sales Excellence KPI’s such as pipeline strength, hit rates etc.

The key accountabilities of this role are:


To manage and grow the business zone; capturing opportunities in Power, Manufacturing, Constructionand Mining industries by delivering C3 plan of Volume = 87M liters, C3 = USD 2M Focus areas: a) Grow and defend the zone, focusing on winning new businesses through a.1) Execution of new CVPs Facilities Operations and Maintenance, PQ,and HSSE; a.2) Margin management through Competitive Pricing through Risk Marketing and other strategies; b) Support Facilities Operations and Maintenance, ensure RASCI and KPIs are in place and ensure milestones and learnings from initial execution are tracked and considered in the CVP roll out; c) Ensure updated Sales 1st requirements including KAP reviews, call plan and pipeline. Also be able to contribute to the delivery of CF Working Capital Focus areas: a) ensuring to meet or be below DSO target ; b) deliver DFA performance set by the management.
Support local and global HSSE initiatives and programs. Support T&S key global goals. Ensure HSSE is a regular agenda in District Meetings. Complete all PI/NM reporting requirements.
Ensure that there are no compliance issues. Embed discipline in using G&H and COI registers as needed. Drive complete disclosure of details in Concur expense reports.
Defend base volumes and grow the territory by developing nontraditional accounts or industries

Requirements:

What we need from you


Strong experience in sales and customer interface.
Strong customer focus and stakeholder management.
Able to work collaboratively with diverse groups of stakeholders.
Entrepreneurial spirit with balanced understanding of business risk and reward skills.
Knowledge of the oil market, prior working experiences in Supply Chain Logistics and price risk exposure will be an advantage.
Demonstrated evidence of Enterprise first values and behaviors will be taken into account during the selection process.
