Job Description This position will manage accounts directly related to treatment and landfill that will be directed to our internal and external facility partners. These accounts can have a national or local scope. Build long-term relationships with generators, consulting firms, environmental cleanup firms, and government agencies to increase the revenue and profitability of the treatment and landfill capabilities within the ESS group, leveraging our technology and

know-how, program management, and service efficiency. Identify target accounts, develop national and local strategies, manage customer relationships and execute by working with business development, operations, and technical service within the branches and landfill sites. Manage contracts and commercial terms for all accounts.

PRIMARY DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Provide sales and account management for Treatment and Landfill accounts to meet profit and revenue targets set by the Treatment and Landfill site leadership.

2. Identify strengths and weaknesses in services, and support business development, operations, and technical teams within ESS to address gaps in performance and suggest new technologies for deeper market penetration.

3. Build customer relationships at the corporate and site management level. Leverage and

coordinate current relationships held throughout ESS working with operations and technical groups of ESS, branch sales managers, and sales representatives (or “account managers”),

4. Coordinate negotiation of master service agreements and separate contracts, and interface with legal and operations teams.

5. Oversee reporting of key performance indicators and review meetings with site management, typically on a quarterly or annual basis.

6. Resolve elevated customer issues from operations, branch sales managers, and sales representatives. Provide timely, accurate, and professional resolution of such matters.

7. Develop new pricing and service strategies that leverage the competitive alternative and increase profitability. Identify new service projects and support the sale of projects working within business development.

8. Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications Education / Experience / Background

● Undergraduate degree.

● Five or more years of progressive Account Management/Sales experience with hazardous

and special waste customers with a focus on treatment and landfill.

Knowledge / Skills / Abilities

● Computer proficient

● Strong team player

● Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

● Time management: the ability to organize and manage multiple deadlines

● Strong customer service orientation

● Ability to effectively present information

● Ability to negotiate effectively

● Ability to spend 70% of time in the greater Arkansas market.
