Job Summary
The Marketplace Sr. AM is a trusted expert in the business objectives of FreeWheel's publishers within our marketplace products partnering with the day-to-day users and strategists to ensure optimal utilization and understanding of our systems. Marketplace AMs will own the execution of strategies pitched and closed by the marketplace Strategic relationship owner. This team will focus on tactical strategies to improve setup and performance of programmatic deals, reduce the time from a deal being struck to transacting, and proactive monitoring of live and upcoming deals to ensure smooth execution and first line defense against any technical issues. You will function as the Programmatic subject matter expert and all entry level deal troubleshooting will be funneled through this group to assist support teams and optimize turnaround times, as well centralize performance feedback to document replicable solutions. The role will provide weekly insights into marketplace performance to publishers and illuminate any trends within the account, and where applicable identify any missed opportunities for additional yield. You will attend weekly account calls and own weekly office hour and be responsible for maintaining the continued trust and confidence in our marketplace products and level of service. This role will also monitor and facilitate all FourFronts Deals within our managed IO based marketplace as well as facilitate setup and execution of FreeWheel's new Marketplace as it scales. Responsible for managing all post-sale activities of assigned client accounts, including post-sale stewardship, coordinating production activities, post-sale reporting and providing excellent client support and management. Ensure team meets workflow benchmarks and deadlines on a regular basis. Mentor junior team members to ensure cohesive team capabilities and operations. Work closely with the Strategic Account Manager and cross-functional department heads to influence product development to meet client needs and ensure processes are efficient and effective. Partner with sales leaders in assigned areas to ensure Account Management team is aligned with sales goals and strategy. Integrate knowledge of business and functional priorities. Acts as a key contributor in a complex and crucial environment. May lead teams or projects and share expertise. Serve as back-up for the Relationship owner during absences and peak workloads.
Job Description
Core Responsibilities
Maximize revenue by being the trusted expert in your client's business objectives for our marketplace products, partnering with the day-to-day users to ensure optimal utilization and understanding of our systems.
Act as subject matter expert on all Account Management related materials, answer questions and support colleagues with less experience as needed on daily activities (training, troubleshooting, internal processes, etc.).
Proactively and reactively troubleshoot issues with deal delivery and performance across programmatic and IO based deals. Research discrepancies, inconsistencies and recommend solutions and optimizations to improve performance and ensure client satisfaction.
Focus on tactical strategies to improve setup and performance of programmatic deals, reduce the time from a deal being struck to transacting, and proactive monitoring of live and upcoming deals to ensure smooth execution and first line defense against any technical issues.
Function as a programmatic Subject Matter Expert internally with cross-functional teams, within the Marketplace Account Management Team, and externally to publishers.
First line of defense for all client enquiries to alleviate support constraints and improve turnaround times, as well centralize performance feedback to document replicable solutions.
Provide weekly insights into marketplace performance to publishers and illuminate any trends within the account, and where applicable identify any missed opportunities for additional yield. Deliver ad hoc reporting and training to clients as needed
Responsible for maintaining the continued trust and confidence in Freewheel's Marketplace products and deliver white glove service.
Contribute to strategic account team meetings to ensure visibility of book of business to broader team, identify themes across the business as a whole, and promote knowledge sharing within the organization.
May participate in implement of new process rollouts working with Marketplace Operations to identify the optimal method for knowledge transfer and audience for trainings.
Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
Regular, consistent, and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary.

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS
BA/BS degree
7 years in the Media and/or Advertising Technology space in client facing roles with a track record of growing revenue either at a video publisher, technology vendor supporting video publishers, or agency
In-depth knowledge on Ad serving, programmatic, yield, ad exchanges, DSP/SSP's, DMPs, and a firm grasp of the media distribution landscape
Outstanding verbal/written communication skills
Recognized self-starter capable of flourishing in fast-paced and dynamic environment
Strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills - - Expert level Excel experience highly preferred.
