Global Account Manager Jobs description
A global account manager is responsible for ensuring successful achievement of global sales revenue targets. Typical duties of a global account manager includes sales planning, deployment of sales forces, conducting global sales meetings, taking up on tough accounts, relationship building with loyal and voluminous accounts, formulation of competitive strategies, and promoting customer retention programs nation-wide. A global account manager reports to the vice president – sales and marketing.A global account manager should have a bachelor's degree and several years of progressively responsible experience in the field of account management or global sales. Prior experience working as national account manager is important.
